I'm 19 years old. I'm a student at University. Lower level : all subjects in primary school, English, Maths and Science. Secondary : Maths and Biology, Chemistry, physics GCSE : Foundation Maths (AQA, OCR, Edexcel ), Biology or Chemistry (Edexcel, double/combined) and Religious Education Preferred age group : Year1 to Year 10, In my spare time I play Badminton and do Dance. Hi! I'm Pia. The subject I teach is Mathematics at primary school level to GCSE level and also GCSE and A-level Biology. I understand that maths and biology can present difficult challenges and having received tutoring for both subjects, it has really helped me to understand and enjoy the subjects a lot. My journey as an engineering student has been full of exciting opportunities to apply maths and science to real-life projects. This fuels my enthusiasm when I teach, and I love sharing examples from my own work. Recently, I worked with TotalEnergies in France, exploring the valorization of desalination concentrate. One of my favorite projects was producing biodiesel from eggshells, which I showcase when discussing energy in physics. I also had a blast running STEM workshops in Dubai for kids. I'm an active member of AIChE and love participating in physics competitions. I won first prize in "Girls Got It" by building a mini robot with my team and creating a simple pendulum model.
