Hi My name is Oyinkan and I'm a Secondary Maths teacher. I studied a Maths degree at university and I can tutor primary, secondary (GCSE) and A-Level maths. I have been a maths teacher for 5 years and a private tutor for 7 years. I studied maths, chemistry and computer science at A-Level and I also studied a Maths degree at university. Outside of teaching and tutoring I enjoy shopping, watching action films, solving puzzles and socialising with friends and family I am a big music fan and regularly go to concerts. I have a keen interest in football and support Arsenal.

My journey as an engineering student has been full of exciting opportunities to apply maths and science to real-life projects. This fuels my enthusiasm when I teach, and I love sharing examples from my own work. Recently, I worked with TotalEnergies in France, exploring the valorization of desalination concentrate. One of my favorite projects was producing biodiesel from eggshells, which I showcase when discussing energy in physics. I also had a blast running STEM workshops in Dubai for kids. I'm an active member of AIChE and love participating in physics competitions. I won first prize in "Girls Got It" by building a mini robot with my team and creating a simple pendulum model. I'm passionate about science and STEM, and I strive to show my students how thrilling these subjects can be!

About myself: Hi! I'm Favour, I have experience tutoring students who are studying English language and Literature for their GCSE's. As a tutor I aim to breakdown questions & lessons to go along with the students' pace. During lessons I use the students interest to channel their learning & I am patient to ensure they get the most of the time. For example I once used a students' sports interest to breakdown the structure question in the AQA language paper 1 question 3. What I love the most about tutoring (apart from spreading knowledge of course) is getting to know, learn and see students develop. Guiding a student through revision is no easy task as no student learns in the same format. Presenting the student with ideas and having them put these into practice is what I aim for to prepare them for exams.
