About me
Hi future tutees! I have 5 years of experience in teaching secondary and collage level students. Between 2014 and 2017 I have been part of the Students United group in Poland where I taught English to Polish college students as well as mathematics to primary and secondary students. Since 2018 I have worked in education departments in museums and art galleries in England, Germany, and Poland. I have designed interactive games for secondary school children and led workshops for stage three and four in AP Art History and mathematics, combining the study of foundational number theory and painting analysis. My teaching style is greatly indebted by my mentor and first art history teacher Dr Agatha Rusnak. To her I owe a teaching style that relies on simple and clear definitions explained to students with the help of pictures and graphs. During the course of our lessons, I will provide you with individually tailored tutoring to make sure you become confident in the covered material. What best defines my approach is the narrative-based learning where together we break down complicated topics into manageable parts that we both can learn and appreciate. After each lesson I give my students a recap of the lesson, additional useful resources and a set of exercises with varying degrees of difficulty.
