About me
Lower Level: 11+ English (CEM, GL, Independent) GCSE: English Language (AQA) and Business Studies (AQA, Edexcel) I have had over three years' worth of tutoring experience. This has included tutoring students both on a personal 1-1 basis, but also to groups of students within the realm of formal English GCSE examinations, GCSE Business Studies, and 11+ entrance exams (English). My lessons are structured in a way to ensure that you have full confidence in what you are learning whilst progressing through content and grades. There are always opportunities to ask questions, share work or ask for further help in particular areas where I will strive to meet any needs. I am also willing to share self-made resources for students to use to improve their own work and will easily be able to adapt to different learner needs based on educational ability. I have always loved to dabble in a variety of hobbies with experience including (but not limited to): crochet, candle making, knitting, and reading. The one that has always stuck with me, however, has been writing poetry in my spare time. Not only am I an avid reader, but poetry is a passion that I have taken full advantage of, through creating an online presence to express myself through this outlet. Last year, I published my first paperback book, and the launch has been entirely rewarding.
