I'm intensely passionate and enthusiastic about anything I set my mind too. Currently completing a Master's program in Edinburgh on climate modelling, my long term is to improve regional climate models in the tropics. My teaching philosophy is that patience is the most overlooked ingredient for mastering a tricky subject. Too often maths are taught as one tedious fact after another to be memorized, leaving no time for students to truly grasp a subject. My students learn intuition, not memory and learn mathematics as a set of skills, rather than a list of rules. With enthusiasm and a healthy dose of repetition, I am confident I can get my student's the expertise they need to succeed.
