About me
Hi there! I am a private English Literature and Language tutor with over 3 years of experience. Last December I graduated from the English Master's programme at the University of Liverpool with a Distinction, and I have since been making plans and figuring out the next steps in my life! I have experience teaching English Literature and English Language for the following levels and exam boards: A-Level— AQA, OCR, WJEC Eduqas; GCSE— AQA, OCR, WJEC Eduqas; Key Stage 3, as well as the 11+ exams. I'm also very interested in tutoring students at the undergraduate level. I only (fluently) speak English, and I do not have any SEN tutoring experience. I am happy to work with any age group from Year 6 and up, as I find that with the right approach any student can be a rewarding teaching experience. My Master's degree specialised in contemporary and modern literature, but I love Victorian, Renaissance and classic lit too! I'm a bit of a nerd for literary theory and poetry in particular. In my spare time, I (predictably) enjoy reading and podcasts, but I'm also an enthusiastic home cook and volunteer at a local art gallery. I have something of a tech-y side also, and I've been known to tinker with computers and play videogames (usually on the artsier side)!
