About me
Hi, I'm Teeva, and I'm a third-year Bachelor student of English Literature at the University of Sussex. As an experienced tutor, my main skills are empathy and communication. I believe that each tutee is unique, and I work hard to listen to your individual needs so that I can provide you with a bespoke experience and personalized lesson plans. I find that using a personal approach really helps students not only retain knowledge, but also find the confidence to practice and demonstrate it in their own work. I have over 100 hours of experience tutoring English Literature and Creative Writing, and over 400 hours teaching English as a Foreign Language. I also have considerable paid experience writing model English essays for IB as well as A-Level students. Having attended one-on-one supervisions throughout my time at Sussex, I am capable of talking through ideas and explaining complex concepts simply and patiently.
