Education
Throughout my education I studied under the English, American and international curriculums. I completed my secondary school examinations in the Scottish curriculum (National 5, Highers and Advanced Highers). Generally I enjoyed studying a mix of subjects. For example at Highers I took Mathematics, English, History, Chemistry, Accounting and French - advancing to Advanced Higher in English, History and Mathematics, as well as taking an intermediate level course in French at the Open University in that year. At university I undertook a degree in Law (LLB) at the University of Edinburgh. This included ordinary subjects as are required by the Law Society and honours courses. I took a range of honours courses from company law and commercial trusts to intellectual property law and competition law.

I am Scottish born but I grew up moving internationally to countries such as Vietnam and India. Having grown up in different cultures, around new languages and learning in very diverse spaces, I have become a very adaptable person who enjoys a challenge. I have spent the last 8 years learning, researching, and preparing for exams and assessments. Therefore, I can sincerely appreciate the position the students are currently in and would love to help them navigate and thrive in their educational setting. Outside of tutoring I work part-time as a cheesemonger, and I will be commencing my legal career in the later part of next year. I played volleyball for over 10 years, have been in choirs and musicals for most of my life, and generally enjoy getting to know people of all walks of life. As a tutor, I believe that variety, focus, and creativity are crucial elements in delivering lessons to my students. I want my students to always feel supported during a lesson, to leave having developed a skill and feeling successful.
