I have gone through the British Education System, completing both secondary school and sixth form here. In secondary school, I took the subjects Maths, English Language and Literature, French, Business Studies, Geography, Religious Studies and Science for GCSE, obtaining 8 Grade 9s and A* with distinction in Further Maths. For A-Levels, which I have completed at a grammar school, I studied French, Maths and Economics, being predicted A, A*, A* respectively. I understand the British Education System very well and would be able to efficiently guide a student through it.
About me
Hi, I'm Krita and I am a tutor for Maths and French. Maths is one of my most favourite subjects, since it allows me to find different methods of approaching problems, even in life outside of the subject, and having taught it for over 4 years, I know I am proficient in passing this interest onto my students. French, a beautiful language that teaches me new words and phrases everyday, captivates me and I adore teaching it to students and seeing the way their vocabulary, as well as knowledge about different culture, flourishes. I am fluent in speaking the language, having obtained the title of National Finalist in the Joutes Oratoires 2021 (French Debating Competition), allowing me to expand a student's speaking ability as well as reading, writing and listening. My teaching methods are completely aligned with that of the student, since I focus on what they require to prosper, rather than forcing any one type on them. Feedback I have received over the years has been very positive and I am pleased to say my students find themselves moving up sets/in the class rapidly after I start tutoring them!
