I studied Mathematics and then worked as a teaching assistant at METU, Turkey. All the courses are given in English at METU. I resigned from my job there in July 2019, to be able to work freely with people who really want to study and better understand mathematics. For these last two years, I've worked with students who wanted to study mathematics deeply; not only for the standard tests, but to widen their understanding in mathematics in a profound manner. My teaching method depends on colaborative work, I try and create an environment for my students to learn together with me, rather than being a passive listener. To understand mathematics, it is crucial for the student to do mathematics and ask questions. So I take the role of being there and holding a light while my students learn how to learn maths and find the joy in deep understanding.
