University of Manchester: where I am currently studying for a degree in Environmental Governance. Here I am learning about how governments, companies, pressure groups and the general public govern our natural environments. This is a very important issue as now is the time to act against climate change. University of Greenwich: where I graduated with 2:1 in BSc Hons Physical Geography. This is where I gained a deep knowledge about the earth's environments and processes. I studied modules such as Earth system science, Biogeography, Sustainable futures, The history of natural science, Lab skills and my Dissertation. We also took field trips to the lake district! And even Spain! Which was great fun. Sixth Form: where I achieved an A level in Geography, As level in Geology and a BTEC level 3 in Applied science. This is where my passion for the world and its environments was truly sparked. In geography, I learned about world cuties, volcanic and natural disasters as examples. Geology taught me about the age of the earth and how rocks may seem boring but can be interesting. Applied science showed me how I can use science to better the world and to better understand people. Secondary School: where I achieved GCSEs including Maths, English, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Geography, Drama, I enjoyed school very much as a child, I had many friends and enjoyed sports such as athletics and tennis. I enjoyed all subjects at the time however, sciences piqued my interest as it taught me how the world works. I loved Drama as it boosted my confidence and allowed me to express myself. Finally, geography inspired me to observe and appreciate the natural and human world around me.

Lower level: English, Maths, English GCES: Geography A level: Geography I am a very Determined, confident and resilient individual with great creativity and a positive approach to life. Every day I am motivated by the challenge and possibility to make a positive effect on our society. I am also a kind and understanding person who enjoys working with people of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures. This allows me to deepen my understanding of the world and the people around me. In my personal life, I like to enjoy myself by cooking, baking and spending time with my younger sister. My subject is Geography and I have been studying it from year 7 up to master’s level, where I am currently at now. My passion for Geography stretches beyond simply education or careers but into my personal life as well as a would love to travel the world one day. I see it as important to pass on what knowledge I have about Geography and another subject in hopes that it will inspire potential career paths in the minds of my students I have experience dealing with children of all ages from primary to secondary through my main extracurricular activity which is karate. Once achieving my black belt in Karate I took on teaching roles, teaching children from as young a 5 up to 18 to basics of the martial art. This relates to tutoring as it shows I know how to make children focus and motivate them to get involved with the task at hand, however boring it may seem to them at first.
