I achieved 10 Grade 9s at GCSE level, being the top performing student in my year group of 200 students. In Sixth Form, I completed the International Baccalaureate, and attained the highest possible score in all of my subjects, which include Maths and Physics. I became the 4th student to do so in my school's history.
About me
Lower Level: Maths & Physics GCSE: Maths & Physics Exam Board Experience: Studied Edexcel GCSE Maths & AQA GCSE Physics. Comfortable tutoring both AQA and Edexcel for Maths & Physics. Languages: Fluent english, basic Spanish, basic German. SND Experience: None. Preferred Student Age Group: Year 8 - Year 11 (Pre-GCSE to GCSE) About Me: I’m Dan, and I study maths & physics at the University of St Andrews, in Scotland. Although I'm only 19, I’ve already done more than a year of tutoring, through the volunteering section of the International Baccalaureate - the international version of A-Levels. During this time, I assisted students from Year 9 to Year 13 in support sessions, so whichever level you’re at, I'm happy and able to help. I believe that my youth is a strength in tutoring students, as I've very recently been through the exact process they're in right now. My subject knowledge and methods of comprehension and memorisation are fresh in my mind, and I'm as up-to-date as one can be with the newest course material. Outside of the classroom, my main hobby is football, so I’m a keen part of Sunday League, and watching the Premier League with my friends.
